ATPL(A) Integrated Course

The purpose of the course is to provide the pilots with the required level of competence, which enables them to act as a  co-pilot in multi-engine and multi-pilot commercial aircraft, and at the same time to obtain the Commercial Pilot’s License (Aircraft) CPL(A), Instrument Rating, Multi-engine Landplane Rating and pass the ground school phase of the Airline Transport Pilot License along with the MCC Course.

The duration of the course is 18 months.

The candidate must pass the tests to ensure that he is capable of studying. Students will have to pass EPST Compass tests: CPP (psychological tests) and COMPASS test (Eye-hand-foot coordination, Technical comprehension (physics question), Short memory, Mental arithmetic, Spatial orientation, Multi tasking).

Flight Training is divided into five phases, of which the first four correspond to real and simulated flight, and the fifth simulated flight and final flight exam:

Phase 1: Familiarize the student with basic flying training aircraft types. Initiate first experience in the air.

Phase 2: Complete the necessary flying instruction in preparation for basic maneuvers, circuits and landing in preparation for the first cross country flight. Ensure that the student has the necessary knowledge to perfrom the solo cross country flight through group instruction.

Phase 3: Familiarize the student with complex single-engine aircraft. Check handling skills and basic aircraft handling procedures. Check satisfactory progress in visual navigation flight.

Phase 4: Give a multi-engine aircraft flying training and qualify the student to obtain a multi-engine rating. Complete instrument flying training to allow the student to take the instrument flying rating flight test.

Phase 5: Familiarize with inter-personal interfaces and how to make the best use of crew co-operation techniques and their personal and leadership styles in a way that fosters crew effectiveness.
