Private Pilot Licence Course PPL(A)

Whether your aim is an airline career or you simply wish to fly privately for your pleasure our PPL course is the perfect start to make your dream come true.
During your course of training you will fly a minimum of 45 hours including 35 hours of dual and 10 hours of solo flights.
You will have to complete a theoretical course and pass the written examinations on 9 mandatory subjects.

130 Hours of theoretical knowledge.
Flying lessons typically follow the pattern of a ground briefing, an hour of instructional flight in our training aircraft is followed by a de brief session.
VAA offers the PPL course over a recommended duration of 8 to 12 weeks, depending upon whether you undertake the course of training on a full or part time basis.
The JAR PPL will allow you to add commercial, multi engine, night and instrument ratings to your license. A medical certificate is required to be issued by aviation medical examiner and if you are considering a commercial flying career you will require a Class 1 Medical Certificate issued by the Civil Aviation Authority Medical Department, for private and leisure flying, a Class 2 Medical Certificate is acceptable. An applicant must be at least 17 years old to hold a Private Pilot License (PPL).
